This is the key message of Peirce to Heterodoxy.
The misapplication of the concept of the random draw has nothing to do with the mathematical concept of limit. Hence the conclusion: “It’s — just as the Cauchy mathematical logic of ‘defining’ away problems — not tenable”, is far beside the point, in fact infinitely far.
What heterodox economists as utterly incompetent scientists indeed need is a “severe course of logic.”#1
